EP038 (Electric Soldier Porygon)Japan's Fire Defense Agency reported that 685 viewers were taken to hospitals by ambulances due to flashing strobe lights. This episode gave the Pokémon anime the infamous title of "Most Photosensitive Epileptic Seizures Caused by a Television Show" from The Guinness Book of World Records.


EP047 (A Chansey Operation)This is the first episode where Porygon is seen in the anime outside of Japan.
